Our Story

Why?

Our journey began in 2023 when a scented candle bought from the market caused me an allergic reaction, bringing headaches and constant sneezing. The synthetic fragrances in commercial candles often trigger such allergies, and the paraffin wax they use can be harmful when burned.

This personal experience inspired us to explore ways to create scented candles that are free from paraffin and made with naturally derived essential oils.

How?

It took us almost a year of dedication and perseverance to craft our perfect candles. In our quest to create a safe, delightful fragrance product, we undertook numerous rounds of research, creation, testing, and refinement. We carefully selected 100% plant-based naturally derived soy wax for our candles and added lead-free cotton wicks for a cleaner, healthier burn.

We collaborated with a certified toxicologist to understand the effects and components of each fragrance. We tested various grades and percentages of fragrance oils to find the ideal blend.

Additionally, we conducted experiments with a diverse group of people, recognizing that fragrance preferences and tolerances vary as much as tastes. We provided samples to individuals of different age groups, genders, and living spaces.

With the invaluable data from these tests, we refined our formula to create the ultimate feel-good aromatherapy experience.

The Final Product

We are proud to share that every candle we offer is handmade with love and crafted in small batches. Every aspect, from production to labelling and packaging, is handled in-house, allowing us complete control over the process.

We believe in transparency, so each Aroma Heights candle comes with a KYC card containing all the information about your candle.

Divya is a multi-passionate individual with formal education in Economics and Teaching and has worked for 7 years as a freelance content writer. She is a keen learner and reader.

Following her passion, she pivoted to entrepreneurship, founding Aroma Heights to share her love for scented candles. With a spirit of curiosity and experimentation, she creates candles that infuse creativity and warmth into your space.
